How to take frizzy out of synthetic wigs is a question that many people have asked before. They want to know how to get rid of the unattractive frizz and give their hair the once in a lifetime look. If you are asking yourself this question, chances are that your hair has frizzy due to your genetic makeup. However, there are options to help you overcome this problem and get back your beautiful natural head of hair.

    Use Mannequin Head

Using a mannequin head will help you make the wig appear as natural as possible. By using this method, you will be able to avoid the frizzing that happens when the wig is made from real human hair. While the method is a little more time consuming than other methods, you will not have to spend hours doing it. You will be able to do it in a few minutes.

    Patience & Self-discipline

Before starting, make sure that the wig that you will be putting on is clean. You can also wash it with a mild shampoo or an anti-frizz solution. It is recommended that you use the latter solution since this one will eliminate the frizzing that usually happens with synthetic wigs. Just apply the solution to the mane.

This material may appear to be smooth to the touch, but this is not always the case. There are many manufacturers of these hair accessories who intentionally produce a bit of lustre so that the users would want to keep wearing them. If you want to preserve the natural look, you should try to stay away from those items with shiny components.

    Comb it Everyday

One way how to take frizzy out of synthetic wigs is to comb it every morning. Start by brushing the fringe from the roots down to the tips of the hair. Do this gently and slowly. By combing in a circular motion, you can ensure that the frizz is evenly distributed. It is also important for you to keep in mind that you do not wear the wig for an extended period of time.

    Apply Hairspray

Applying hairspray will block the natural moisture and oils from penetrating into the wig. It will also prevent the wig from collecting debris as well as dirt. You can try using these products on one hand and then put the synthetic wig on the other.

    Use Blow Dryer

Finally, if all else fails, you can try drying the wig with a blow dryer. All the pieces will come off easily, including the frizz. However, you must be prepared to spend some extra time doing it. If you are not interested in spending so much time on the procedure, you can opt to get a flat iron to do the job. With a straight iron, you will be able to accomplish this with just a few seconds of application time.
