    Step #1

Make sure that your nails are thoroughly cleaned before applying the color tone. Many things can cause color treatment that is not appropriate for your type of skin. So, use soap and water and buff your hands until it looks clean. Afterward, apply the nail polish remover onto a cotton swab. You can choose from various brands; be sure that it is safe for your color-treated skin.

    Step #2

Some nail polish remover onto a cotton swab. Rub the color remover onto your nails for one minute. Then, rinse off the remover with warm water. Do this step as many times as necessary to achieve the desired color change.

    Step #3

Use a color-treated nail brush to paint your nails with the color remover. Do this step carefully because too much color treatment can cause damage. You don’t want to get color-treated spots on your hands! Just use enough color to make them look like they have never been color-treated at all.

    Step #4

Wait at least 24 hours before applying another coat of nail polish. If you are having trouble keeping up with nail polish remover and your nails have already started to turn color, you may need to apply a second coat. Allow the second coat to dry for a few minutes. Once it is dry, you are ready to apply the nail polish of your choice. Use a smaller sponge or toothbrush to apply the nail polish.

    Step #5

Apply the nail polish to your nails and buff them until they are white. Buffing will help the color last longer. You may have to do this step several times if you have a hard time keeping up with the color.

    Step #6

Use a nail stencil to paint your nails. Paint the stenciled white before you apply the color. Apply the color-treated nail stencil in the exact center of each nail.

    Step #7

Rinse your hands thoroughly with water. You are now ready to apply the nail polish and apply a couple of shades of light color on both sides of your nails so that they look natural. Finally, you are ready to go out with your friends and have some fun in the sun!

The color you choose for your nails should have the same tone as your skin. You can purchase nail polish that is specifically for use on color-treated skin. You will need to wait approximately two weeks for the color to reflect correctly. Applying a base coat after manicure will help keep the color used longer.

You must keep manicures and pedicures as short as possible. You should only get one manicure or Pedi-per week, instead of two or more. Longer manicures take more time out of your day because you have to care for your nails. Your hands should be clean at all times.
