How to dye a synthetic wig dark brown

If you want to change your look without spending a lot of money on a new wig, you can dye your synthetic wig at home. It’s easy to do, and you can find everything you need at your local craft store.

Here’s what you’ll need to dye your synthetic wig dark brown:

    • 1 bottle of dark brown Rit Dye
    • 1 cup of white vinegar
    • 1 quart of warm water
    • 1 synthetic wig
    • 1 plastic cap
    • 1 old towel
    • 1 pair of rubber gloves
    • 1 small bowl
    • 1 spoon
    • 1 pair of scissors
    • 1 trash bag

First, mix the Rit Dye, vinegar, and warm water together in a small bowl. Then, put on the rubber gloves and carefully submerge your synthetic wig in the dye mixture. Use the spoon to help move the wig around so that it’s evenly saturated.

Next, put the wig on your head and pull the plastic cap over it. Then, wrap your head in the old towel to keep the wig in place. Let the wig sit for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on how dark you want the color to be.

After the time is up, carefully remove the wig and rinse it in cool water. Be sure to rinse until the water runs clear. Finally, shampoo and condition the wig as usual.

And that’s it! You’ve successfully dyed your synthetic wig dark brown. Enjoy your new look!
